Welcome to a new section of this website called the Fridley Farmer! I will be writing about my garden work and experiences in Fridley, Minnesota. While I like flowers just fine, I love growing food much more, so for now that’s where my focus will be. You can access all of my Fridley Farmer posts in the Fridley Farmer category.
I am not a professional gardener. My family had a garden growing up, and Caroline and I have had a garden at various times and with varying success during the 6 years we have been married. That said, I love gardening. It gets me away from the computer, and is a fun way to get some exercise and get some yummy food.
Please take all my gardening advise and recommendations the same way you should take all advice from the Internet. Assume it is at least 1/2 wrong, but use it as a starting point for learning how to garden.
