So, how did the soil turn out? I’m eager to see how it worked?
Blueberries are arriving the week of the 17th, so I’ll test the soil this weekend! Stay tuned!
Good luck with the blueberries! I recently planted honey berry plants which look like an oblong blueberry and taste like a blueberry, but don’t require acidic soil. Time will tell if they work out or not.
I’m curious how your lingonberries are doing. I planted some a few years ago, and while they seem to be spreading well (like a ground cover, not a bush), I have never gotten more than a couple of small berries. I didn’t know about the acidic soil, so perhaps that’s my problem. I live in MIinneapolis. My daughter wants me to try blueberries now. How did yours do? Would you recommend it?

Unfortunately both the blueberries and lingonberries were eaten to the ground by rabbits!
Before the rabbits took control the lingonberries were surviving but not thriving, the blueberries struggled though. The rabbits didn’t touch the raspberries I had planted nearby though, so I’m going to try blackberries where the lingonberries and blueberries were last year.
