For whatever reason, Apple shipped all of it’s colored computers with these horrendous round mice. You couldn’t rest your hand on them and you couldn’t tell by feel which way was up. Sure you say, ‘but they were cute’. You obviously never used one.

I ended up being the owner of two bondi blue puck mice and a matching blue keyboard. One day the mice started looking like the knobs on a coat hanger I’d seen, and I decided to investigate. A few days later and I had a gorgeous coat rack for my dingy crusty workroom.

This is what I started with. I bought a wooden dowel and screws afterwards.

An angled view of the coathanger when it was partially done. These columns are the dowels which were wrapped. The mice get connected to the tops of these columns.

The project is complete. My coats now have a place to live.
